September 22–23, the Arroyo Grande Harvest Festival ( features a fish fry, grape stomp, pie-eating contest, baking contest and agriculture pavilion.

September 24, Mission San Miguel ( celebrates the feast day of St. Michael the Archangel with its popular annual  esta. Dishes for purchase include menudo, chicharrones, enchiladas, traditional tri-tip and chicken barbecue, as well as pastries, aguas frescas and local wines.

October 21, the ONX Wines ( Winemaker Seminar will take visitors into the vineyards for harvest, then into the cellar for hands-on equipment time, followed by lunch.

October 27–28, Tooth & Nail Winery ( transforms into a haunted castle for the Halloween Harvest Costume Ball presented by Central Coast Live (21+).

November 3–5, SLO Wines’ ( Harvest on the Coast Festival features winemaker dinners, a grand tasting and silent auction, and special events throughout San Luis Obispo Wine Country.
